Margaret “Maggie” Hanson-Muse is a Trustee for the Pan American Development Foundation, a Director for the International Folk Art Market, and a Duke Global Educator. She is a member of the Crestview Collective and Women Corporate Directors (WCD). Ms. Hanson-Muse was a senior diplomat with U.S. Department of Commerce whose international assignments included Mexico, Cote d’Ivoire, India, Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia, and Singapore/ASEAN. In addition, she was the Commerce Chair at the Eisenhower School of the National Defense University where, as an Assistant Professor, she taught Strategic Leadership and national security-related courses. Prior to her diplomatic career, Ms. Hanson-Muse was a management professional at Allstate Insurance, General Electric, and Sprint/Telenet. She is a volunteer mentor and facilitator for FutureLink Maryland. In March 2023, she will join the US-ASEAN Business Council as the new Chief Operating Officer.
